Monday 6/1/26 - Finals I 8:30 PM CST - today was the start of finals
my school has a weird finals schedule where it's a whole day's worth of periods split up over 3 days, so today i only had to go to my first and second period.
first period was gym and second period was film studies so i had finals in neither
i just sorta laid down on one of the mats in gym and took a nap haha
and then i ditched midway through film studies
you'd think i'd do something interesting after going home early but i just ate 2 more hot dogs and then went to bed
according to one of my friends my chem final (which is tmrw) is pretty easy? so that's chill
right now one of my friend groups is going through some sort of drama but nobody's telling me what about so i have no idea who to side with ¯\_(=/)_/¯
i also got my preACT score back and it turns out i got a 34 / 36
for all the non chicagoans in the crowd imagine i got a 950 on the PSAT
right now i should be finishing my final english project but i'm not for some reason

i went to the Haymarket Affair memorial today. It was pretty nice. I liked all the plaques from the different unions.
i saw so many people just walk past the statue. i wonder if they knew what it was their eyes were glazing over.
i wonder if knowing would've changed anything, or if they would've kept walking. ☭
